About Us
 Your hosts at Chalet Chovettaz are Fiona and Chris Hopkinson, aided in the skiing season by our chef and hostess.
Chalet Chovettaz is the new venture and home of the Hopkinson family. Having spent many years holidaying and skiing in the Alps, they have settled here and have put their passion and the knowledge gleaned over their years of travel into making their dream and your holiday something very special.
Chris and Fiona have had many years experience in the skiing business – both as consumers and suppliers. They live in Chalet Chovettaz all year round in the delightful village of Les Contamines-Montjoie in the French Alps. By being fully integrated into the local community they feel they can provide the very best for their guests staying at the ski chalet.
By profession, Chris is an airline pilot so he may not always be around. But when he is, he is happy to share his love of the mountains with guests and ensure that they make the most of their ski passes. His enthusiasm and practical attitude to life is highly infectious.

Fiona is a bubbly and effervescent Scot who loves looking after
her guests. Whatever the challenge, Fiona rises to the occasion
with a mischievous twinkle. She excels in making life hassle-free
and fun for those around her. In addition, years of skiing in the
Alps make her a great source of information and advice.
Our chef and hostess, who may well greet you at the airport, will provide quality food and service at meals and will be delighted to discuss any special dietary needs or requirements. They ably assist Fiona in all Chalet Tasks and are around to offer advise and assistance when Fiona is not immediately available. In addition to the chefs culinary skills, Fiona and Alison are expert chefs in their own right.
 Our very own Mary Poppins is Alison Child. Alison is a Norland
Nanny with a vast amount of experience looking after babies and
small children. Your children could not be in safer, kinder or more
experienced hands. Alison is in residence whenever nanny services
are booked which makes the ski chalet perfect for a family friendly
ski holiday. Should you wish to discuss your particular requirements
with her, she can be contacted in the UK.
