There are several options for childcare and we are happy to discuss all your requirements with you. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide our private nanny service. However, we can recommend several local nanny agencies. Alternatively, we will provide free lodging if you wish to bring your own carer.

In Chalet Care

Children who arrive with their own nanny may be cared for the homely atmosphere of the Chalet where we have a huge selection of games, toys, books, sledges and activities for them to enjoy.

Freshly prepared early suppers are provided and nannies may use the kitchen to prepare formulas and children's meals during the day when the chalet staff may not be available. Usually, we will leave something for lunch which can be warmed through. And as an additional bonus all nappies, toiletries and formulae or special milks are included the cost.

Whilst we are happy to provide nanny accommodation free of charge, a charge will be made to cover carers meals.

Village Creche

La Galipette is the village crèche which is situated next to Les Loyers piste in the village.
The crèche accepts children between 1 and 7 years old and it is possible to combine ski school and childcare from the age of 2 ½.

Children can be booked in for various times during the day - morning to include lunch, mornings without lunch afternoons, whole days. It is advisable to book well in advance during the main French holidays and the places in the ski school element are strictly limited.

We always recommend that parents using La Galipette should have their own transport. this allows increased flexibility in dropping off and collecting children when the chalet vehicle may not be available.
