Food is our passion and is a key element in a catered chalet holiday. We strive to provide one of the best dining experiences in the Alps – and we like to think we’re quite successful at it.
All food is freshly cooked with the greatest pride and care in the chalet kitchen by Fiona. She uses only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. When asked to describe her style of cooking Fiona describes it as ‘Bistro rather than haute cuisine’. She likes to serve up delicious, well balanced comfort food rather than complicated restaurant style fare.
However, there are some things which will never appear on Fiona’s menus and those are tartiflette, fondues, raclette and the hundreds of variations thereof. She feels that these dishes are freely available in the mountain restaurants and in the village on our night off. So, we aim to give you something different.
