Families
 Chalet Chovettaz is the perfect place for a family skiing holiday. We
love children – we have three of our own! And we’re
proud of the fact that we have skied every year with them
from birth despite the fact that they were all winter
babies! So we are confident that we have enough experience
to make your holiday at Chalet Chovettaz as enjoyable
as possible. The key to a successful family skiing holiday is keeping
your children happy and that means flexibility. We at
Chalet Chovettaz pride ourselves on our flexibility
and provides the perfect environment for a family friendly
ski holiday.
We will provide beds in parents rooms, cots, highchairs
and masses of entertainment for your little angels.

Nanny Services
|
 We
particularly recommend our Nanny Services to take all the niggle
out of your holiday. Before you depart for Les Contamines, Alison
will be in touch to discuss any particular requirements that you
have for your children – nappies, toiletries, beds, cots,
food and drink.
If children wish to go to ski school,
she can drop them off in the morning (with a yummy snack in their
pockets for elevenses). Alison, or her helper if there are more
than four little ones, will collect them at lunchtime and bring
them back to the chalet for a hot lunch. Younger children and babies
can either be cared for in the chalet or at the local garderez “La
Galipette”…the choice is yours!
After lunch, younger children have the opportunity for a rest before
an afternoon of sledging, making snowmen and general mischief in
the snow!
If they prefer, we can arrange activities in the chalet where we
have a large selection of games, toys and crafts available.
 Older
children who wish to ski in the afternoon can either be dropped
off to their parents or they can ski together with a qualified instructor.
When the children return in the afternoon, they will have a snack
and drink. Alison will ensure that they have a hot bath and are
changed into some cosy indoor clothing.
Children’s supper is served at 6pm. Of course, children are
also welcome to dine later with their parents – we
are entirely flexible. It is after all your holiday!
At about 7pm children are invited to snuggle up around the fire
to enjoy a bedtime story. We have an enormous children’s library
of books and story CDs.
Bedtime is at parents’ discretion. Children may watch TV
or play games in the library during the evening.
Oh, and one more thing. Alison will do the children's laundry throughout the week. Please ensure clothes are marked so that
we can return them to their rightful owners.
What could be easier?
A word of caution: whilst we make every effort
to make our chalets as safe as possible for all our guests, parents
should be aware that Chalet Chovettaz may not be completely child
proof.
